Greetings in the Matchless name of Jesus!
As we embark on this season we celebrate the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Many may wonder why and how can we celebrate such an occasion during a world crisis. We must remember in this life there will be crises, but we can rest in Jesus knowing that He is Omniscient (all knowing). Nothing happens without Him knowing beforehand. Nothing takes Him unaware nor is He unprepared for any event.
We read in Revelation 13:8 … “the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
Jesus Christ was that precious Lamb of God. It was His destiny, as declared in John 12:27, “Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.” The evidence is clear, the Cross exposed the world’s sin; the Cross proved God’s undying love for mankind by sending His only begotten son, to give his life as a ransom for you and I. In the Cross we see a glorious exhibition of God’s love and finally, we see the way to VICTORY. The Cross is the means to our eternal salvation.
Blessings & Shalom!
